Blimpie International selected its Meridian, Idaho BLIMPIE restaurant as the best from the chain of nearly 1,600 locations. Franchisee Shelley Uzzel-Savage, who owns and operates the BLIMPIE at 521 South Main Street, accepted the title of BLIMPIE Best Restaurant featuring a prize package valued at $28,000 at the 2005 BLIMPIE Franchise Conference held in Miami August 1-4.
